Following the capture of data from the orthoscanner, the information is compressed and burned to disk and sent to Orthomed Worldwide.
At Orthomed Worldwide, the data is reviewed by expert analysts. Following this, a detailed report is produced which includes relevant video thumbnail views, geometric measurements and a treatment proposal.
The treatment proposal may include the dispensing of a functional foot orthoses. The design and shape of which is captured by the scan data - so compiling a physical plantar profile is unnecessary.
